As a child, I had the experience of raising stray cats and a Persian Chinchilla cat. My family mostly kept dogs for a long time, but after I started living independently, I became fond of cats. I used to watch a lot of Japanese films and animation movies, which frequently featured cats, making them feel closer to me. I think I was also charmed by their independent and elegant nature.

Five years old is said to be a significant turning point for cats. At this age, they reach a stable period of adulthood, so a cat for birthday celebration becomes all the more meaningful. Handmade birthday cards are drawn and colored by me with colored pencils. I used Tombow colored pencils that I bought more than 30 years ago, and the paper is the papaer is a CERGIO colored pencils sketchbook from Shinhan Commerce. It’s a little thicker than the ARTISTS 100 CROQUIS SKETCH BOOK I used before.

핸드 메이드 생일 카드는 제가 직접 색연필로 그리고 색칠합니다. 구입한지 30년이 훨씬 지난 Tombow 색연필을 사용했고 종이는 신한커머스의 CERGIO 색연필 전용 스케치북입니다. 이전에 사용했던 ARTISTS 100 CROQUIS SKETCH BOOK 보다 조금 더 두꺼워요.

1. Create an ideas sketch / 아이디어 스케치를 합니다.
2. Arrange the necessary design elements in a layout / 필요한 디자인 요소 레이아웃을 배치합니다.
3. Outline the design with a pencil as a base / 연필로 밑그림을 그립니다.
4. Choose and arrange the colors for the design elements / 디자인 요소의 컬러를 구성합니다.
5. Finish the coloring with colored pencils to complete the analog card / 색연필로 색칠을 완료합니다(아날로그 카드 완성).
6. Scan and conbert it into a digital file / 스캔 후 디지털 파일화 작업을 진행합니다.
7. Design the digital card & envelope templates for the final product / 디지털 카드&봉투 템플릿을 제작합니다.
